What will you be doing?

You are responsible for the operational Finance processes and ensure reliable and timely financial reporting. You are an important sparring partner for the CFO and together with the finance team you ensure company-wide improvements in financial processes to support the realization of organizational objectives. You make an important contribution to the professionalization of the finance department and organization-wide AO/IC processes.
Your tasks and responsibilities: 

• Making an important contribution to the Finance annual plan and its realization with the team;
• Responsible for a reliable periodic financial closing. You ensure that imperfections are identified and corrected in a timely manner and improvements to financial processes are proactively implemented;
• Carrying out qualitative financial analysis of the (monthly) financial results;
• Reporting reliable monthly and annual financial management information;
• Preparing payments;
• Preparing the (consolidated) statutory annual accounts;
• Coordination and supervision of the audit;
• You contribute to the further professionalization and optimization of financial processes and the AO/IB;
• You support the development and implementation of robust internal control measures, in an automated manner as much as possible. You are the financial point of contact for the organization;
• Daily guidance and management of the finance team.

What do we require?

You are analytically strong and accurate. You have a critical attitude, work in a structured way, are pragmatic and can set priorities:

• An Bachelor or University Degree with a financial, business economics and/or accountancy background;
• Approximately 3/5 years of relevant work experience as a finance manager or similar financial position;
• Proven knowledge of external reporting;
• You are proficient with Exact Globe and BI tools (experience with Tableau is a plus);
• You are a team player with a proactive approach.
