As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be the driving force behind cutting-edge hypervisor infrastructure based on vCloud, OpenStack, and CloudStack. Where will you be working?

Worldstream was founded in 2006 by childhood friends with a shared passion for gaming. What will you be doing?

  • Managing and developing hypervisor infrastructure based on vCloud, OpenStack, and CloudStack;
  • Developing or optimizing existing tools for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving production incidents;
  • Collaborating with various engineering teams to address large-scale issues;
  • Solving production problems and providing real-time support to customers;
  • Translating needs and issues into effective solutions;
  • Researching and advising on new cloud technologies and services;
  • Organizing, maintaining, and reporting project documentation to ensure a thorough and accurate transfer of the project to the client;
  • Collaborating with internal teams and clients to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions;
  • Sharing knowledge within the organization and contributing to the technical quality of solutions.

Job requirements

What do we require?

  • HBO-level of education and thinking;
  • Experience with OpenStack, CloudStack, or vCloud;
  • Familiarity with Linux and Windows systems and server management;
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like BASH, Ansible, or Powershell;
  • Experience with open-source search engines and monitoring solutions such as Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, ElasticSearch, Fluentd, Kibana, Zabbix (Preferred);
  • Practical knowledge of networking (LAN, vxLAN, eVPN, TCP/IP) (Preferred);
  • Good command of both the Dutch and English languages.
